Learning Together
By Tiffany Hill
A. How does this project
fit within the established curriculum?
This video will be a collaborative engagement of the kindergarten unit of inquiry, How We Organize Ourselves. Students will be exploring matter, chemical reactions, and process of production. This video assignment will also address the 21st century skills of collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. It establishes motivation for kids to dig deeper and respond to a challenge presented by the 11th grade biology class here at ASB. Students will be choosing video clips that will address the challenge. This project will also expose them to the scientific process early.
